International Conference on Business and Management (ICABM2026)

Hybrid Conference | On-site and Online Participation

The 6th edition of the International Conference on Applied Business and Management (ICABM2026) will take place on June 25–26, 2026, at ISAG – European Business School, in Porto, Portugal, in collaboration with the Research Center in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET–FCVC).

Following the success of previous editions, which included the publication of selected best papers in a Special Issue of the International Journal of Marketing, Communication and New Media (IJMCNM), indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) — ICABM has established itself as a leading international scientific forum, fostering knowledge sharing, critical debate, and innovation in the fields of business, management, and economics.

Hybrid Format and Submissions

ICABM2026 will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend on-site in Porto or online, thus encouraging global participation from researchers, academics, and practitioners.

Submissions are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, under the following categories:

  • Full Paper (up to 10 pages)
  • Short Paper (6–7 pages)
  • Extended Abstract (1–3 pages)

All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, ensuring high academic standards.
Accepted contributions will be published in the Book of Abstracts, which will be made available to all conference participants.

Publication Opportunities

The best full papers written in English, accepted and duly registered, will be selected by the Organising Committee and invited to submit their manuscripts to international indexed journals in the areas of business, management, and applied economics, following a strict peer-review process.

In addition, a selection of the best full papers in English, accepted and registered at the conference, will also be invited to contribute book chapters to an edited volume published by IGI Global, an international academic publisher indexed in Scopus.
All chapters will be subject to peer review, and final publication will depend on the decision of the reviewers and the editorial board.
